Terms of Use
Last updated: October 11, 2026
Sohi gathers every guest's photos into one shared album, and helps you keep a guest list and a record of gifts. By downloading the app, visiting sohi.vn or joining an album through a QR code, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please stop using Sohi.
1. Accounts
Guests can join an album without signing in. Sohi then creates an anonymous account, kept on the device or browser you're using. If you clear your browser data, uninstall the app or switch devices, you may not be able to get back into that anonymous account.
To create an event, keep a personal gift book or buy a plan, you sign in with Google or Apple. You're responsible for keeping that Google or Apple account secure, and for everything that happens on your Sohi account.
2. Events and hosts
The person who creates an event (the host) and the co-hosts they invite are responsible for it: its details, its guest list, its gift ledger and how its QR code is shared.
Anyone with an event's QR code or link can join its album, so share it only with your guests. If it leaks, you can change the code, close uploads, or switch the album so each guest sees only their own photos.
When you enter information about other people (names, phone numbers, gifts…), you confirm you're allowed to, and that you'll use it only to organise your event.
3. Your photos and content
Photos you upload stay yours. You allow Sohi to store, compress, resize and show them to the people allowed to see them in the event, under the host's settings, for as long as needed to run the service.
The host and co-hosts can always see the photos you upload, and can hide or delete any photo in the album. You can delete your own photos at any time.
You confirm you have the right to post your photos, and the consent of the people in them where the law requires it.
4. What you can't do
When using Sohi, you must not:
- Upload content that breaks Vietnamese law, sexual or violent content, or anything involving the abuse of children.
- Harass, defame or threaten anyone, or post their private information without consent.
- Join the album of an event you weren't invited to, or spread its photos against the host's wishes.
- Get around plan limits, disrupt the service, scrape it, or access Sohi's systems without permission.
We may remove content, and suspend events or accounts that break these rules. You can report a violation by email at the bottom of this page.
5. Plans and payment
- Every new event starts on the Free plan: up to 20 photos, stored for 30 days from creation.
- Paid plans are bought per event, as a one-time payment through the App Store or Google Play. Current prices are shown in the app before you buy.
- A photo plan includes 1 year of storage from the purchase date. You can extend it a year at a time, or buy lifetime storage.
- Lifetime storage means your photos are kept for as long as Sohi operates. If Sohi ever shuts down, we'll give at least 60 days' notice so you can download your photos.
- Refunds follow Apple's or Google's policies, since they process the payment.
6. When storage expires
When an event's storage expires, it becomes read-only for 30 days: everyone can still view and save photos, but no new ones can be added. After those 30 days, the event's photos are permanently deleted and can't be recovered. Extend the plan, or save the photos you want to keep, before then.
7. Deleting your account and termination
You can delete your account at any time from Profile in the app. Events you host are deleted along with all their photos. The Privacy Policy has the details.
We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or the law.
8. Limitation of liability
Sohi is provided as is. We work to keep it reliable and your photos safe, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted or make mistakes. Keep your own copies of photos that matter to you.
To the extent the law allows, Sohi isn't liable for indirect losses, and our total liability for an event is limited to what you paid for that event in the previous 12 months.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Sohi changes. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we'll tell you in the app about significant changes. Using Sohi after a change takes effect means you accept the new terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Any dispute will first be settled by negotiation; if that fails, it goes to a competent court in Vietnam.
